Its popularity is highlighted on YouTube as the views as of all fan videos on the video platform, 41% were generated by Minecraft.

What are the features of the game?

The purpose of the game is simply to build and explore (and survive).  Players can play by themselves or with others in the community in servers . Servers have a high a high sense of community where the members communicate with each other. Within community servers users may be expected to participate in community projects, play civilly, and build long lasting friendships. As children are playing the game we need to ensure they only have people who they know in their community as the characters have anonymity and it is difficult to distinguish who they actually are.
